Trevor Promotion
We were unable to get good picture of the actual promotion. So we took one after the really, really long program. Trevor was a runners up for the citizenship award.
The pool picture is after his Friends and him had the Mohawk done.

These are the kitties that Trevor brought from the church.

We have been feeding them with eye dropper.

Trevor says there names are waffles and syrup.

Ruger

This our new puppy. His name is Ruger. You know like the brand of Guns. We wanted it to sound mean. We are hope someday he will be a bit intimidating. Right now he will just love you. You know the way new puppies love. Like jumping up on your dress when you are leaving for church, and of course he had just ran through the pond. So now you have two big muddy footprints on the front of my dress. Needless to say we hope he can do the job of Guard Dog. You might ask why now??? Well Brent motorcycle was stolen out of our shop in the middle of the night. I think it drove him crazy to think he slept through someone stealing from him. The good news is that through his detective work. He was able to get the bike back.

Exciting Afternoon!!!

Well Allie is on to state again!!! This time we did it the easy way. We beat East Valley for the third this Season in a very close and hard fought game. It was very stressful. It was of course at East Valley. You know the neutral site. And we also had the most neutral Refs. Ha Ha!! The Ref was actually the best Friend of the East Valley Coach. So East Valley got every call. Needless to say, We cheered for the Girls and Yelled at the Refs. It was a great game and the first time we have qualified in the first Qualification Game instead of the last.

Way to go AL!!!!

Allie's Funny Newspaper Quote

So this is the article that was in the Tri-cities Herald about the game last Friday night. It was a very fun ending. Allison said she had no idea what she was saying when she was being interviewed. I am pretty sure she was getting the flu that night. Because the next morning she woke up with the pukeys!! So she can not be held responsible for the quote in the paper.
It was kind of sad because they should not have won the EV game. Which was great but they lost Saturday night to Wapato. Allie kept trying to get up and go to the game. But she could not stand. She was so sick so they need to do it with out her.

Walker leads Othello over EV
By Rene Ferran, Herald staff writer
OTHELLO -- Allison Walker heads to the University of Idaho in the fall on a volleyball scholarship.
On Friday night at Taggares Gym, the Othello senior showed off her volleyball skills on two big plays down the stretch that lifted the Huskies to a 47-44 CWAC victory over East Valley.
Walker's two-handed set on a putback with 32 seconds left gave Othello a 45-41 lead, and on EV's next possession she skied in the air to block Mary Orthmann's 3-point try.
"My teammates were like, 'Dude, you just volleyball spiked it!' " said Walker, who finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. "And I was like, 'I know. It was sweet.' "
Sweeter still was that the victory moved Othello (10-5, 10-3) into a tie with the sixth-ranked Red Devils (12-3, 10-3) for second place in the CWAC standings. The Huskies also swept the season series from EV for the first time ever.
Walker had her big night despite playing with a stinger suffered in last Saturday's win over Grandview.
"She's still not 100 percent, but she did a great job tonight," said Huskies coach Laurie Stickel.
It looked early as if Othello wouldn't need any late-game heroics. The Huskies led 29-13 at halftime, forcing 12 turnovers (which they converted for 13 points) and grabbing 12 offensive rebounds (for 12 second-chance points).
"Everything was clicking in the first half," Stickel said. "We were doing all the right things."
The lead was still at 37-23 late in the third quarter when EV roared to life. The Red Devils held Othello without a basket for 9 minutes and went on a 17-4 run to get within 41-40 on a basket by Annie Martinez with 3:45 to play.
"We stopped being aggressive, and East Valley got after it," Stickel said.
EV had four tries to tie or take the lead, but missed two front ends of one-and-ones and had two turnovers before Justine Villarreal ended Othello's drought with a 10-foot jumper from the right baseline with 1:58 left.
"We finally started playing with more energy and enthusiasm," said EV coach Robi Raab. "But you expend so much energy to come back, sometimes it's hard to get the one you need to finish it off."
Christine Kirkwood also scored 15 points for Othello and grabbed 11 boards. Lauren Walker led EV with 12 points before fouling out with 2:27 to play.
EAST VALLEY (44)
Lauren Walker 12, Orthmann 2, Gonzales 9, Hull 10, Martinez 9, Ramynke, Mohsenian, Hodgson 1, West 1, K.Walker. Totals 18-52 5-13 44.

Exciting Game!!

I just thought that i would post the exciting game that Allison had last Saturday.
Well Othello was playing in Grandveiw. Not a great place to play. You basically get hammered every time you shot and then you go to their end and if you stand straight up and don't touch them it is a foul. Really frustrating!!! Well we had made it to the 4th quarter and we were ahead by 10. 5 minutes left in the 4th and Allison gets the ball on the boxes and makes her move. Needless to say when she came down after the shot 4 girls had taken her legs out of under her and she crashed down hard to the floor. She landed with all the force on her lower back. So after the coach yelled at the refs she made it out to Allison. As she got out to her, she quickly turned and motioned for the Dads so that maybe they would carry her off. Then soon they called Me down. When i got their Al was numb in one leg and could not move them with out severe pain. So guess what, we called the Ambulance to take her to the Hospital. So she went out on a stretcher. At the hospital we waited a long time to get x-rays. During this time we had, Mom, Dad, Aaron,Grandma, Grandpa in the emergency room. The sign outside said 2 people per person, Then finally she went to x-ray. While she was gone. Bishop Mollotte, Mark, Kylee, Tyson, and also Raun Jensen showed up. Then she came back from X-ray and we waited for the doctor to see what they could see on the X-ray. The nurse came in and Said to me "The Bus just pulled in you will have to come out and clam the team down." It was alot fun. It was fun for Allie it made her fill better. The Hospital staff was very excited when we left.

By the way Othello won the game by 2. And Allison is doing fine just sore. It was a deep bruise nothing cracked or broken.
